This week is Beau's last week at daycare...
I’m taking full advantage of it by dropping him off, then coming back to organize our new place. It’s like nesting on steroids. My goals for these next three days are to unpack all the things, try a new recipe everyday, find the closest Trader Joe’s to our new place, and take several naps. Oh, and think about packing a hospital bag seeing as next Wednesday I’ll be FULL...

Maverick has the hiccups.
And I can feel them in my butt. I guess that means he’s head down?
Being pregnant is weird.

32 Weeks!
I never really went into detail about things leading up to Beau’s early arrival, but a lot of stuff started happening around the 31-32 week mark. I lost my mucus plug. My feet started to swell. I had some periodic cramps. My belly was measuring 39 weeks. And I was just all around very uncomfortable.

Yesterday I fell down.
On Sunday, Southey started his new shift this week where he’ll be working everyday from 6am-3pm, meaning I had to get myself and Beau ready on my own. It’s completely doable, but we’re still working out the kinks in the schedule so I was frazzled. Each morning I walk out with Beau, pop him in his carseat, then come back inside and quickly gather all my things (purse, lunch,...

Our secret name for a second baby.
When we found out we were pregnant again, my initial thoughts on the name were that we weren’t going to tell anyone. I was still harboring some uneasy feelings about our last name reveal, and wasn’t sure I wanted to do it again.
Then we picked a name. I loved it. It was perfect. I told my coworkers first because they’re a trendy group, and I knew they would approve. That...
